Elona Malterre is an award-winning poet, short-story writer,  scriptwriter, and former teacher who believes that children can and do appreciate language at higher levels than many adults give them credit for.  She is the author of the much loved and highly praised Last Wolf of Ireland which won a National Library Citation Award.  She has been asked to do a number of short stories for English Language Learners which soon will be posted.

Norma Jean Watson is an artist and former farm girl from Avonlea who imbues her work with charm because she doesn’t always follow the rules. Having once worked as a letter carrier, she now lives with a mischievous little dog, Halley V, who loves cooking, decorating, and drawing. Eve of the ROTOBS was illustrated for her grand-niece Zoe Schmidt who has Down’s Syndrome.
